Michelle Papka, PhD

Michelle Papka, Ph.D., is a neuropsychologist at the Memory Disorders Program at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, NJ. Dr. Papka specializes in the assessment of age-related dementias and adult cognitive disorders. She conducts multi-disciplinary assessments and provides treatment to patients in collaboration with other specialists. Previously, she was the neuropsychologist of the University of Rochester Medical Center Alzheimer’s Disease Center. She is the founder and director of the Cognitive Research Center of New Jersey, a privately owned research program focused on clinical trials for Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and cognitive impairment.

Dr. Papka is a clinician and researcher with numerous publications, grant awards, and presentations of her work. She has been conducting research for 20 years and has been in clinical practice for over 15 years. She is an adjunct Assistant Research Professor in the Neuroscience Department of Rutgers University and previous Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She leads workshops in her field designed for both professionals and the general public.
